Credit Collector Manager (ENG)

The selected candidate will strategically and operationally lead the company’s credit management activities.
This role is crucial to ensure the right balance between timely debt recovery and maintaining strong client relationships, within a complex and constantly evolving regulatory environment.
The position is responsible for overseeing the entire credit management cycle, coordinating a dedicated team, and working cross-functionally with other business areas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and motivate the credit collection team, ensuring recovery targets are achieved;
- Continuously monitor receivables, analyzing overdue accounts and high-risk positions, and defining priorities for action;
- Develop proactive, tailored recovery strategies based on customer segment and profile;
- Manage relationships with external debt collection agencies and servicers, defining KPIs, targets, and operational frameworks;
- Coordinate credit assignment/NPL (non-performing loans) operations, including partner selection and contract negotiation;
- Supervise legal recovery activities, liaising with law firms and external advisors;
- Update and implement company credit policies in compliance with current regulations, including ARERA requirements.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Degree in Economics or Law;
- Proven experience in managing external debt collection companies and in both operational and strategic management of NPL transactions;
- Excellent knowledge of Italian energy sector regulations (ARERA), Consumer Code, and GDPR;
- Familiarity with credit scoring tools, customer segmentation, and credit risk assessment;
- Experience in handling legal disputes and enforcement actions, including coordination with external support;
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret advanced reporting and credit performance KPIs;
- Excellent command of Excel and good knowledge of Business Intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI);
- Good command of the English language;
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop teams;

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative approach toward internal and external stakeholders;
